Hey there vBulletin fans!

Here is the first build of a child style that you hopefully like.

It has no templates changed, so import it as a child style to your existing styles.

Note: I did not modify any images, but hopefully we can all work together to get more cool images? Contribute them and I will include them in the .zip!

You can download the style here (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=118665).

Floris,

How about these buttons for the green one? (These are the same buttons released by Zachery for his Green style). I just made the xtra buttons/graphics that he missed.

Very nice. I like the blue way better than I like the default vB White skin. :)

Floris...

Is there any chance you might release the Professional and Professional Alternate styles from VB.nl? I really like the way those look. :)

You really should let Floris keep something that is unique to his site. :)

They are not free styles - and purchase isn't possible at this moment.

Nice suggestion.

I have updated the .zip with Zachery's greenish style-buttons. I don't know which one(s) he is missing, so attach those in a post here if they are.

Floris,

After going through your buttons, the only one that I see is missing is the go.gif and the remaining buttons, but they are for those that use vbPortal so I don't think they would surfice here.

I just downloaded the "Spring" and "Autumn" styles,
but I don't see a 'readme' with install instructions.
This is my first style install for my new vB board,
so I need a leetle help here. THANKS!

Is there a thread somewhere that describes the steps for installing these add-ons?

Hi there,

Apologies for lacking instructions.

Upload the images/00x/ directory to your web server using an ftp client. Put it (as you can see) inside the forumdir/images/ directory.

Go to the browser > admin control panel > styles & templates > download/upload styles > import style (browse!) select the .xml from your hard drive > ignore version YES > enter name : vbulletin-style.com 00x style > visible YES > press import.

The style should now work.

There is no "images" folder in your zip file, any of your zip files.

Disregard the previous. I took a guess at what you meant, uploaded the 005 folder from my hd to the server.

Followed your import instructions with no problems... until I got to the [Import] part. Seems you created your styles using vB v3.0.3, and apparently it is not compatible with vB v3.0.7

I've attached a screenshot of the error message.

Choose the option to ignore the version.

OK Steve, I'll try it again... brb...

Yes, that worked. Great! Thanks!!! One leetle glitch, I lost my website logo, so I will have go back in to the CP and make that edit. Other than that, I love the new colors.

Admin Control Panel > Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Dropdown: StyleVars > put the path to your custom logo where it currently points to the vb logo.

Yes it did Floris, my bad. I looked right past that line. Now that I got our logo working, I can't remember how to change the logo redirect, so clicking on it will take us to our website.

I got it fixed in the default style, but since installing the new style, CRS had grabbed me, and I can't remember now how I fixed in the default.

Warren

btw... I really like that 005 style color!!! Thanks for all your hard work on it!!!

Hi Floris,

I really like the Spring style, however I am not sure if I am doing something wrong but when I click on the following:

>> You can view a live-demo here: http://www.vbulletin-style.com/?styleid=5

I get the style I really like, but when I download it from here:

>>

vBulletin-Fans.com-Style-002.zip (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=11908&d=1098219356) (134.8 KB, 311 views)

>>

I get a very greenish different look.

Where do I download http://www.vbulletin-style.com/?styleid=5 . If I follow the instructions to upload to forum/images directory, will I be able to revert back to default?

Thanks,
Paul
