Hey there vBulletin fans!

Here is the third build of a blue-ish child style that you hopefully like. Updated for vBulletin version 3.0.5!

It has no custom or customized templates, no custom or customized phrases, so import it as a child style to your existing styles.

A blank logo might be a nice idea, but I think everybody will indeed replace it anyway with their own image(s).

The black one is on its way (hopefully today) and the red is already done. Well, it is bordeaux red I think :D With semi-pink/purple button set.

Please excuse my ignorance on this part. I thought I was getting good at this php stuff. I went to my Style manager and chose "add child style" and now I have the child style, but I'm not sure what to do next and where to download the files. Thanks for any input on this.

You don't need to do any PHP to get it working.

I love this style and several of the others you've done, and plan to install them and make them available to my members. I've managed to install the first xml file, but I don't know where to put all the lovely graphics you made to go with it....

the 001 dir goes inside the image/ directory.

Ah, I must have unzipped it wrong, because there was no file structure preserved, just the batch of images along with the xml file. :rolleyes:

There is an issue with some of the control panel screens where the gradient is "too short".

See the attached image for more info.

That is default vBulletin. Happens on every default installation.
Change the background color to the last gradient color instead and you won't notice the difference. The online manual has a color reference map where you can trace back which class is what.

I came across this small error in the Style 001 XML:

You can use your own logo/banner/image in the header if you want.
You can do whatever you want to the style on your own web site :)

Just to be sure that I got it right.....In order to install this hack I have to download it (I like the blue one), unzip it, upload the 001 directory in the original images directory and then upload the new xml file. Is that right? Can I keep the standard vBulletin style in addition to this new one? Can I use it in vB 3.0.7?

One minor note....I've noticed that the user's profile and karma show up in a different way respect to the standard one. Is this due to a particular hack or does it depend on this style? How can I get my forum to look like that?

I have it running on vbulletin-fans.com without problems. No templates are customized, so should run fine on any 3.0

I am really glad that it works on 3.0.7. Thank you so much for the great skin! :D Although here's a small suggestion. How about making a PSD file for the logo where we can alter the text anytime we want to.

Don´t know if this is the place to ask this, but I just came across this style and I love it so much, I want it to bear my children.

Now, what I wanted to ask is, will this be made/adopted/converted for vB 3.5?
I would hate to change the style to this beauty and in a couple of weeks to change it to the new default style.

Running on vB 3.6.0 without any problems. I copied the missing images/buttons from the default style (infractions, multi-quote, etc). The style looks great.

If someone has the thanks button (which is not a default vbulletin button, which is why it isnt included) you can add it to a post in this thread and I can put it in the first post of this thread.

This works with 3.6.2 too - i just tested that.

I'd say just import it and see if it works. It had no problems with 3.5 and 3.6
