How do I change the height of the .tcat

I'm not sure where to look.

Admin CP > Styles & Templates > Styler Manager .... Main CSS.

Look for the Category Strips section (5th one down on the page), and see if adding what you want in the "Extra CSS Attributes" field will do the trick.

Alternatively (and this takes more work :( ), you could go into the templates and add the desired amount of top and bottom padding to the <td>'s wherever .tcat is used.
