Now I am confused more and more with:

http://www.hostgenie.net/servers/linuxservers.html

Enterprise

Pentium® III 1Ghz
512MB PC100 SDRAM
40 GB HDD (8ms Access Or Less!)
Intel Pro/100+ 10/100 NIC card
Linux Red Hat - FreeBSD or Slackware OS
Setup: FREE
Montly $299.00

It looks too good to be true and there is 30 days money back gurantee too. But notice the "Montly" not Monthly and no physical address or Company Info. Add to that the lack of details about installed software.

So What do you think Again.

As always service is important to me, even if it means paying a little bit more. So i fired off an email to Sitegenie and I am pleased to say their reply was very quick, Within an hour. Not quite as fast as the support from VenturesOnline but still very quick.

I'd be interested if anyone is using them also, at the moment I am still leaning towards Ventures Online however.

you get what you pay for. If it seems too cheap for what it is then it sucks. If it seems too expensive for what it is then you've found a good host. hehe. :p

http://www.hostpro.com/ Not the cheapest but totally awesome performance and such. Ideal for vB forums.

http://hostrocket.com is much better
You get much much more things for a cheaper price...and you get soo much more web-space too, built in scripts ect....all for around £6 a month! and £20 a year for the domain....thats better than the one u recommneded
