Just a couple of ideas (not related) that I thought I'd throw in. Was wondering if others would find them nice or utterly redundent, and if they would be viable to add.
here goes:
1) sort by dot-folder.
Currently, in forumdisplay, you cal click on "thread" or "started by" or "last post, etc, and get the threads list ordered by what you clicked on.
Well, how about adding the option to click on *something* above the folder icons, which will then sort the threads with the dot-folders (threads you posted in) first?
2) Post number out of Post count.
As I sumbit this thread, the information on the left will say:
Registered: May 2000
Location: 2nd turn left
Posts: 792
In no time, the 792 will change to 793 etc.
Well, how about making this 792/792 and the next time I post it will be 792/793, the time after that 792/794 etc.?
This way, when you look at a post in the archive, you can see that it was, say, 22/800 -- the 22nd post out of a total of 800 :)
Just though it would be nice to know that (and also a good reference for admins and referrers alike. I.E., I could tell a friend "check out my post #792 :) :))
