------ VBULLETIN VERSIONS OLDER THAN 2.3.4 -------
It has recently come to our attention that a
malicious individual has been launching attacks
on vBulletin installations using versions OLDER
than 2.3.4.
The attack targets a known security flaw in older
versions of vBulletin, which was fixed for the 2.3.4
release.
If you are running a version of vBulletin older than
2.3.4 it is EXTREMELY important that you take steps to
secure your vBulletin installation, either by upgrading
it to one of the most recent versions (2.3.5 or 3.0.1)
or by uploading one of the patch files provided in the announcements forum at vBulletin.com:

Versions of vBulletin older than 2.3.4 are vulnerable
to attack, and we would strongly recommend that you take
the appropriate action as soon as possible.
