Lets say I have a deep Category/forum 'path'. For example, the Main Category has three sub-categories, and each of those has 4 sub Categories, and each of those has three forums.

Is it possible to copy that structure/permissions/properties to another category? Then I can just edit the Main Category Name and retain the naming and permissions of the sub-categories without adding new categories and sub, sub-categories manually.

Thank you.

At this time there is no such option. You need to manually create these catagories and forums.

Are there mods for this type of thing?

Not that I'm aware of. If there were they'd be over at vbulletin.org.

I hired a fellow to do this for me then he replied back that, "there is basically no
way I can or anyone else can do what is required (other then the vBulletin
coders and a few VBulletin only coders.)"

Does that sound about right?

I'm not a programmer, but if the 'vB coders' could do it, then so could any other coder with the right knowledge and skill.
