I don't know where to post. I apologize.
I am wondering why we have to pay to get vBulletin board... I mean do we have to buy that vbulletin? Free would be great, but can't. I am just curious why do we have to pay for it?
Thanks.

Hi there,
Thank you for your interest in the vBulletin forum software.
I have moved your question to our pre-sales forum.
At this moment we do not offer any further discounts or free licenses.
vBulletin costs $160 for a owned license and $85 for a lease license. The lease license allows you to run vBulletin for 12 months, and the owned license for an unlimited period of time.

The short answer is that vBulletin is commercial software. All of are staff are paid - Developers and Support. We feel that we have the absolute best BB system and best support available, and the fact that we pay our staff is certainly a key factor in this.
