How do I change the default view?

I want to change the default to "All posts from last year" and it seems to be set to "Last Day"

I can't seem to find where to change this setting. I would think this is a 'setting' vs. a template.

Aslo, has anyone written a little tutorial on how to alter the templates, and which one is which.

The way it's setup now, you have no idea what any of the templates are for. It would help tremendously to know what each one is. The user manual is a bit brief on this.

I think the user manual should be expanded in the explanations, and the brief descriptions should be in the control panel.

You should modify the forum that you want to change, and the option is in there.

I just figured there should be an overall option for this. UBB had it.

I'm lucky. I've only got 30 or so forums. But I can just imagine someone with a big board having to go into each forum to set the properties.

Why isn't there a default, with an option to override like almost everything else? :)
