importing UBB from diff server

I'm changing servers, and the new server has a different configuation.

Just bringing UBB over doesn't work because the new location is different.

will this affect the import of the data? Or will vB just grab the files relative to the site root (as opposed to the server root)?

I found out what the path is to the directories from the error messages.

When asking for directories of files, how do you put it? Example, if the Members directory is in cgi-bin/ubb/Members/, do you put it as:
/cgi-bin/ubb/Members or
/cgi-bin/ubb/Members/ or
cgi-bin/ubb/Members/ or
/home/hostname/cgi-bin/ubb/Members
/home/hostname/cgi-bin/ubb/Members/

You see what I mean? Which is it? The directions could be a little better on the forms.


1. For importing members, it only seems to import Moderators and Admins.

2. And then, importing threads doesn't seem to work properly. It only seems to import the one 'hidden' forum I have.

I'm going to go in and remove the hidden forum (it's a forum that is not assigned a category). But, why should that effect anything? Shouldn't it just import all the forum.cgi files?

OK,
I don't know if that was it, but when I changed the uncatagorized forum to "off" and placed it in a category, all the threads imported.

I also reuploaded the files to the server.

Got everything working. Now I've got to figure out the Templates. The Manual doesn't really explain it well.
