Converting from Snitz to vB -> Passwords Lost??

Hello !

I just converted with ImpEx from Snitz to vB... everything went fine, but all of my users are not able to login anymore. I heard that Snitz uses SHA1 and vB MD5 ? So did impex not convert the passwords?

If no what can I do? How can I tell my people to use the resend password feature and avoid them from signup up again? But I would love to do automatically conversion form sha1 to md5?

They must ask a new password. There's no solution for that.

We have the same problem for or conversion.

Yup, I can't get the original password in a usable format unfortunately, though more importantly the email address CAN be imported so they can request a new one.

Its not always a bad idea to make users update or change their password as well, helps with security.
