It's the only FTP client I use. Best one out there ;)

So far it lacks some features that i like that exsists in cuteftp pro

Like what? Maybe I'm not a hardcore FTPer hehe.

Multiple connections to sites, some sort of built in text editor (no matter how basic), a few other odds and ends that i dont like.

Doesn't have multi site (other then opening multiple clients) but it does have a text editor.

//edit
I thought it did. I have it set up to use EditPlus, so maybe it doesn't =/

^_^ i already have a million windows open (not so much by choice) so the multiple clients dont work well for me.

I think FlashFXP would be great with a tabbed interface for the ftp windows :)!

Actually FlashFXP does have it's own Text Editor, but depending on what you edit files with - it opens whatever you use for you:)

I use the newest WS FTP. My high school had some sort of education lisencing and now I get free updates :)

I might give FlashFXP a try, but WS FTP is pretty solid.

I use CuteFTP Pro (not the latest version though...costs too much to upgrade and I'm fine with my version). I love it. :) Been using it for ages.

Doesn't seem to support SFTP and FTP over SSH... Not something that I would look into personally.

I'll stick with SecureFX which, while it doesn't have a built-in text editor, allows me to edit any file remotely with its proper application (i.e. Graphics is PSP, XLS in Excel, etc...).

On the other hand it does support SSL/TLS encryption - isn't that comparable?

I've tried many other FTP Clients but I have become dependent upon CuteFTP Pro. You know when you become accustomed to something you can't live without it. Samething with Photoshop and illustrator :P

Not when you have to reconfigure a server to work with it. I don't have any FTP deamons running on my server.

Transfering from one site to another directly never worked for me with FlashFXP

I use Filezilla http://filezilla.sourceforge.net/

Free - and supports FTP over SSH which should be the standard for anyone with dedicated servers

True. But if you wanted multiple people to be able to access part's of your site, I would feel safer giving them a secure FTP access than a FTP over SSH access, just because SSH sounds more powerful to me, and I'm not sure I want to give that power to those people.

This requires that both servers have this feature enabled...

It is on sale for $10? I will go buy a bunch of copies now and give them away on my site I guess :)
There we go, 3 single user licenses, now I need an idea to give them away :)

Don't give them away now, give them away when the price goes back up.
