I've only forgot to set the alarm on my cellphone once in the last college year :) And even then, my dad kindly(???) woke me up ;)

Never had a problem with them to tell you the truth. It doesn't really matter what time I set my alarm clock to, I will always wake up one minute before it goes off.

Currently I do not use an alarm clock at all and wake up at 6:00 a.m. every day.

I wake up with my alarm no matter how low I set the volume - I guess I'm a light sleeper. I have to get up at 5:00AM on work days... :(

Hehe :D

Mine keeps on repeating every few minutes until you push a tiny button to reset the alarm... which you really can't do until you've finally gotten up ;)
So if it doesn't wake me up right away, it will a few minutes later.

That happens to me as well. I set the alarm and my body knows when to wake up, right before the alarm. :S

I would have to consider myself in the same boat as Wayne and ogden. I always wake up 10 to 15 minutes before my alarm goes off. I then lay awake in my bed until it goes off and by that time, I'm ready. No need to push the sleep button.

I'd love to be able to go to bed at 11 and wake up at 6am every morning without feeling tired. People need more sleep in their teenage years than any other stage of their life. On a non-college day when I have no commitments I'll manage 12 hours sleep no problems :)

Eleven? Wow, that is early... Well not really but if I get to bed before 1 a.m., I wake up around 3 or 4 in the morning. Never needed a lot of sleep myself growing up. Six hours was plenty now I only need about 4-5 hours at night.

Could be worse. Last I heard my father only sleeps 3 hours a night but then he takes a nap in the afternoon also.

It all depends on training yourself too. I have no set routine for my body clock. I mean I get up at 6.55am on a college weekday and go to bed around 11-12. Then on the weekends i'm that tired I have to sleep about 12 hours to catch up. Anyone can take their required sleeping time down to about 4 hours without any feeling of nausea, tiredness or any other side effects. You just have to have the time, and patience to get through the first months of training yourself ;)

I have a very hard time getting up in the mornings. The only alarm I use is on my cell phone and it goes off three times. Each time I just turn it off and go back to sleep. I do need to get into a regular routine though.

nebby, do you use the standard task scheduler that comes with Windows or do you use a different one? I might try this. :)

Please someone help me. I am going to dig myself into a very large hole if I dont find away to get up on time!! I set my cell phone to start ringing 5 times in 5 min intervals and I turn it off 5 times and go to sleep. I had this one manual gloack where you find up and it hits the bells and it is so loud. It woke everyone else up in the house except me. And it has a very very tiny switch to you to turn to make it stop. I have a really big problem

lmao, I need something like that :p

I used to set my alarm clock 30 minutes ahead of when im "supposed" to wake, then when it rings i set it 30 minutes ahead and go back to sleep.... by the time it rings the second time im feeling a bit more refreshed and ready to go (even if i was sleeping in those 30 minutes) :p

Well I figured out how to do this with the Windows Task Scheduler but everytime I hit "Apply" it tells me I don't have permission to perform the operation. It asks for a password even though I don't have one set. Anyone know of a way to fix this? Thanks. :)

I'm a morning person, and a very light sleeper, which is why my mental clock usually works to get me up. If it's something very important though, I set my alarm clock & cell phone just in case ;)

I use the one on my mobile phone, only because my alarm clock's one is really annoying. Plus I'm not likely not to fall back to sleep with my mobile phone's alarm. It's happened before, alarm goes off, go back to sleep and drift off. >_>

I have no clock.
The only clock I check is in my traybar :)
