need a space between words in keyword meta tag?

I'm just wondering if it makes a difference (to a search engine) whether or not you put a space between comma separated words in the keyword meta tag or not. For instance, is

hi, hello, yo

the same as

hi,hello,yo

or

hi, hello,yo

??

I use comma's myself, but I doubt SE's care. In fact, none of the major SE's use the keyword metatag anyway, so it's nothing to get concerned about.

I use the 'word, word2, word3' etc.. format. It makes no difference here nor there as far as I'm aware :)
