For obvious reasons, some of us will now happily start to learn PHP -- myself included.
Besides the manual on the PHP site and the various articles and tutorials on the Net ( PHPBuilder, WebMonkey, CNET Builder, etc. ), there is something else deserving a look?
A particular book, perhaps? Or another site?

After you get 'Professional PHP Programming', another one would be 'Core PHP Programming'... Not as good as the Pro PHP book, but good none-the-less...

Check out "PHP3: Programming Browser - Based Applications" by Dave Medinets. It is a surprisingly good book. I didn't know junk about PHP about 2 weeks ago, but found myself wrapped up in this book like it was written by Stephen King and now am actually somewhat literate in it. A definite thumbs up.
If you want to learn MySQL, the definitive book is "MySQL" by Paul DuBois.
Hope this helps...
