I'm installing vB on CIHost and I can't figure out what the DB server, userid and password should be. I'm assumeing that the userid and password are the same as for my ftp login. Is this right? Any idea on the server name?

Does a user need to be created? If so can I do it myself or does CIHost need to do it? Please help.

That is not necessarily true. The only for you to find out that information is to ask your host, because there is no way for us to know that information.:)

Never mind,
I just had to contact CIHost to set the database up for me. After that the installation was very smooth. Very nice having the script to set everything up. Much easier than UBB.

BTW CIHost customer support was VERY FAST, contrary to some of what I've read about them. I just signed up today so I can't give them a total evaluation yet, but so far, so good.
