XMB 1.9-> vB import problem ...

XMB version: 1.9
vB3: 3.0.3

I've got some problems with importing my data from XMB to vB3.0.3. I'm using Your ImpEx XMB importer.

It works almost great. After importing xmb users I can't see them on my vB3 board. Of course I did update counters etc ...

Another big problem for me is that all my sub-forums are gone. ImpEx didn't import them. I can't turn on vB forum without those things.

I've got some theory. Jerry's importers have problem with xmb forum structure where XMB's forum dispalyorder in database is set to '0'.

I'll be glad if someone can help with my problem. I can't use vB3 without those 2 things working.

I looked into database structure. Unfortunatelly there are no sub-forums there so it's not only option.

What was the exact version of XMB since I know they have a few service packs.

OK. I'm using the latest version of xmb 1.9 but the most important is the database structure. Here's my xmb_forums table:

vBulletin takes displayorder == 0 as not to be shown where XMB just makes 0 be first in the group. I'll modify the xmb module in a moment.

When you say users dont show, do they appear on the members list or are they searchable via the admin panel?

Yes. But none of my sub-forums weren't imported to vB database. It's not only configuration problem. But I'll be glad If you check it. I think Jerry didn't consider sub-forums. I've got some ideas about how to do it by hand but it's time-consuming.

I think i've made a modification which should sort this just needs testing. I tried to install a 1.9 nightly but all I got was some white pages.

I've updated the module to deal with the sub forums, you'll need to re-upload the xmb folder into impex/systems/ making sure you overwrite 000/003/004.php

I'm still looking on this usergroupid bug at the moment you'll need to run.

UPDATE user SET usergroupid = 2 WHERE usergroupid = 69

after its done.

I made this query for users at the beggining. The only one (big) problem are
sub-forums.

Importer still isn't working.

Your scripts import 38 of my 57 forums. Sub-forums in the import scripts are ignored.

Sub-forums are marked as "sub" in the type column.
For example: fid=81, fid=83 etc in my xmb_forums

I tried an import on my development box and it imported all 57 forums. Can you try uploading the entire impex folder again and make sure everything is overwritten.

Did you re-run the forum module or start again from scratch?

No. I just re-run Import module. Should I start from the beggining?

I think you'd have to start again as i've changed the code considerably which would throw out threaids and postids etc.

I made new install of vB, upload your new ImpEx script and run Import from admin panel. The same situation - I've only 38 forums.

And by the way - maybe it's because there are old php files in ImpEx zip file. I downloaded 5 min ago ImpEx package and looked into xmb header files:

only 2 files are dated 2004/07/13 12:32:03 ...

Other files you told me were updated are old. Can you send me those files by e-mail?

Hmm i've updated again and checked this time. 000.php and 004.php have been updated.

Yes. Now I've got "Date: 2004/07/14 23:23:08"

I'm going to check this importer again.

OK. Problem solved. I did it "by hand" because I couldn't wait. I changed all my sub-forums to casual forum type, import forums and I'm changing some of them in vB to sub-forums.

i test the converter, but have a lot of problems with converting users, and others things
converting users are freezing around converting the user 69 from 2500

i preffered made a personal converter for my forum, but is a xmb->vb2
