Thanks. I am going to try and matte them to a dark grey so they work on dark backgrounds tonight or tomorrow.

Wayne, a lot of those came from the MSN Messenger IM application. Don't know how that'll affect the "Artistic License" part of it.

They look great!

I think they were based on the ones from MSN Messenger, but they're not those emoticons (most likely made for another client). So should be fine probably

it wont let me upload them, keeps saying theres an error? i'm using 3.07

The majority of the icons were made by Everaldo (http://www.everaldo.com). There are a few, though, that look like they were taken straight from MSN messenger, and one that looks like it was taken from Trillian (sleep.png).

The smilies, while they look similar to MSN Messenger's, are not taken from that program. However, pizza.png and messenger3.png look to me like they're copyrighted by Microsoft.
