Making A Winamp Skin

Well today I thought wtf, Im bored lets try to skin something.. might aswell be Winamp. Ive started with just a classic skin. not good enuff or know nrealy anything about skinning to be able to do a modern one :)

amyways ive been at this about 10-15mins just skinnin away and trying to get the skin to look its sister site Artorg.co.uk :)

im going to try and get the main window skinned tonite and do a window a day until its complete :)

keep in mind this is my first attempt at skinning anything!

I've made attempts at skinning Winamp, but I get lazy and end up abandoning it. Skinning is a tedious art.

Bottom buttons (play, pause, stop, etc) are different.

yeah dean im not finished yet lol :) only just got the main window and buttons at bottom done :) still to alter colours etc and the rest of the buttons :).

it,ll probs stay quite dark as like i say i want it to be the official skin for artorg :)

if i can do this well then i may try to make a vbulletin styled one :)

Plz it would be handy if you can report any bugs etc :)

Oh and keep in mimd its beta so it wont reflect the final version.. maybe lol

Looks good, and works fine ;) (using WA5)

How do you skin winamp? I've always been interested in deveoping a skin just for the heck of it...

I'll try it out once you skin the playlist and equalizer. Using it on BMP (for Linux - fork of XMMS which is a Winamp clone) the playlist is unusable.
