Alright, I'm not sure how many of you use blogging sites... but I was wondering if any of you could take a look at my blogging site.. I just rewrote everything, the old version was slow and it sucked. I made that one about a year ago, I just released my rewritten version.

blurgster.com (http://www.blurgster.com)

I just want to know if my blogging site can actually compete with other blogging services...

Is that build on vBulletin source code?

No, it's built off of my own BBS...

I use vBulletin for another site of mine.

Heh... if your referring to the current vB3 template, I created my front end style before vB3 Gamma was released :p

Ok. Is there anyway you could highlight specific reasons as to why? That's the whole point of my thread :)

The news on the front page is way too long. Someone who visits the website for the first time is not interested in reading long paragraphs, they want answers to the following questions: What is the website all about? What is a blurg and how is it different from a blog? And most important: Why should I use blurgster.com and not a competitor's site?
