Hi there,

I just found this site, and I must say that I'm impressed with the online demo and consider changing from my current CMS (CPGNuke 8.1.1) into VB 3.0.1.

As I only need to import the forum bit (phpBB 2.0.8) I was wondering if the phpbb import tool would still work?

If I purchase the owned license, do I have to pay another $160 when upgrading to the next version?

Assuming you are talking about the standard phpBB database, then I don't see why it wouldn't work.

You do not have to pay to upgrade. With an owned license you get one year access to all new versions. After that, continued access is currently just $30/yr.

Yes, it's the standard phpbb database, but it's not called phpbb_*** but nuke_*** will this be any problem?

How does the import tool work? Is it easy to use?

I just finished modifying the pnPHPBB converter so that it will convert CPG-Nuke. I was running CPG Nuke 8.2b, so I am not sure if it will work with the upcoming Dragonfly (9.0). I don't know if I can release the Impex CPGnuke System file though.

Mods is this allowed? Should I send it in to you for testing or something?

Just noticed the date this was posted. Anyways, I am sure someone would like to know that a converter has been done. :D
