I have a large Infopop UBB 5.45c that has nothing but users, forums and threads. No polling, buddy lists, etc. Is there a way to import this into vB3? Or must I start with vB2 then upgrade?

At this time you will need to install vB 2.3.5, import your UBB data, then upgrade to vB3.

Thanks Steve - will I have access to both vB 2.3.5 and 3.0.1 when I purchase? or is that two different licenses?

OK - I purchased and installed v2 and am at the point where I need to import. Is there a step by step process that I can follow to import my UBB threads into vB2? Do I need to manually build the forums first? etc? Not sure where to begin other than that I've loaded the scripts up and am ready to go!

1. Install vB 2.3.5. It must be installed on the same server as the UBB data.
2. Download the import zip file under vB 2 Imprt Scripts here:
http://www.vbulletin.com/members/import.php
3. To install these scripts, extract the files and upload into a directory called "importers" on your vBulletin 2 forums root directory. Once you have finished, be sure to delete these scripts again.
4. Run the importer from the Imports & Maintenance section of the Admin CP.
