Is it really as easy as it sounds to upload the VBB files? Do you just have to upload those two add-on things, then the board bits...and your done??? and does it work on Geocities?

Its very easy to install, however, you need php and mysql, i dont think geocities offers that. Goto the hosting forum to find other free hosts that vB will work on.

am i just thick.....i have no idea how to do any of this! I havn't got another server that will host a thing like that...unless i pay them! and i havn't got the money! I have no idea what all the PHP and myslq stuff is...am i just thick or is it pretty complicated....is it worth the extra $60 for the instillation too? cause if i didn't buy it...i would have no idea what the hell i was doing!

read though the hosting forum for free servers that can host this program.

try the search feature. it's really quite good:)
