Has anyone here tried vBulletin with a videogames website? What chances do we have on attracting active posters to the forums? Also - can we integrate parts of the software to the site, which is mainly run on ASP? (Login bars, latest topics etc.)
And let me know what you think of http://www.gamingheadlines.co.uk (http://www.gamingheadlines.co.uk/). :p
Cheers for taking the time, guys - we might just be a happy vB customer soon enough. :D

VB is very customizable. We haven't implemented a lot of customizations on our forum, but it's working well for us at 3D Gamers.

i'm not sure what you mean by integrating it but vBulletin is great as far as I'm concerned for any type of site you want...i have a gaming site, XGP Gaming, and i use vBulletin (check sig)...i even have developed two themed skins to go along with different areas of my forums...
it's working and no one complains about options etc..in fact they all love the features of vBulletin.

Zero Vision Online has been using vBulletin since Beta 5, and we have had minimal problems with it. It is quite stable, and is one of the best bulletin boards software out there. If your web server has PHP enabled, i don't see why you couldn't include stats. Just ask someone to write a script that allows you to pull stats off the forums, and include it on the site as an IFrame.
