Our environment requires that users authorize against our centralized OSX password server which can provide user and group membership/authorization to the bulletin board system. Can vBulletin be "Kerberized" (act as a subscribed system to a master kerberos server)? Single-signon is strongly preferred. If this functionality does not currently exist, does vBulletin offer customization services?

If Kerberos is not possible, can vBulletin users authenticate against an external LDAP server?

This is currently not a feature and would require modifyng the code.

If not, where can I go to get a quote to perform this work?

Is external authentication a feature that is on the roadmap for vBulletin?

I believe the devs are looking into LDAP as a future solution, however i cannot be sure about it.

So what is the next step for me if my environment requires kerberos or at least external LDAP authentication for its bulletin board? Can someone from vBulletin direct me to a developer with these skills so that I can get a quote for the work?

You can get a quote at vBulletin.org in their Services Requested forum.
