Privacy Mode

Looking at the way things are set up right now, there is a little bit of a problem I see with the privacy mode that may, or may not, be fairly easy to take care of.

Right now, if you select to be in privacy mode it blocks a whole string of things. What if someone didn't mind their AIM name being public, but didn't want others to know they were at the forum?

Would it be possible to make the privacy mode item-selectable by the users?

I would think that a check box next to each item saying "private?" would make it very easy.
