the system stopped
Impex did or your machine ?
When i now click onto the Import/Export button on admincp, the following screen appears.............
I'm working on a "break out & help" link that will be on every page for times like this.
How can i fix this?
The SQL here (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showpost.php?p=657820&postcount=7) will help clean up the imported data.
The first bit will delete the import session.

Thank you, this helped me out, BUT:
I tried to import the phpBB2 again and again the process stopped when importing the posts.
Importing 1528 posts
From : 0 :: To : 1528
Last pass took : seconds
I then see about 100x (seems to be correct)
60.00% :: Post from -> Nemarus
60.00% :: Post from -> Nemarus
60.00% :: Post from -> c'tulla
60.00% :: Post from -> Nemarus
60.00% :: Post from -> Nemarus
and then, the game is over! The process stopped, not my machine.
Can you help again? I've waited 5 minutes now and the screen is the same. We recognized, that not all postings have been imported. Just to February 2004. So about 1000 postings are missing.
Thanks, Wachtmeister

How many posts are you telling it to do per page ?
Are you using impex 1.5 ?

I tried 1.000 and 2.000 per page and i use the version from tonight. I've downloaded a fresh version.
Now i tried a new run with 50 posts per page and it seems to be successful.
Everything looks fine now. I'll give feedback, if something is still mistaken.
Thank you!

Jerry, it worked now. But the total number of users isn't correct. I refreshed all counters and still are the users from the imported board missing. Is there something else i can do?

Are they showing in the counters on the Statistics or just not on the members list. The cache has to rebuild itself which is done overtime.

I've deleted all existing users by importing the second board to vb3. I just did not knew, that i only can import one board. :(
So the number of users is correct, because all others are gone in the wind...
Grmpf...

In one of the other threads I explained about the import id's.
After you have done one import (i.e. A -> C) set all the import id's in all the 12 effected tables to 0.
Then when importing B -> C the import will know what is origional data and data that it is bringing in.
You can import as many boards as you want into 1, its just that I'm still working on the clean up, which has been on hold while I've been bug fixing.
