Like anything else it needs support and its simpiler if we localize the importer issues.

Open your eyes man.
Of course there will be bugs in such a big system as the ImpEx. But I believe the forum was set up to keep all ImpEx issues, bug reports and troubleshooting posts in one spot, to easily help new members with the problems (instead of supporting ImpEx threads over all 3 vB3 forums as it were before).
Impressive? Yes, ImpEx is impressive. So, help out finding bugs, and you'll soon have a neat import script!

Not knocking Jerry but the scripts wern't ready to be released, well the IPB scripts anyway, if they were tested they would of immediatly found they wern't working.
Im sure once all the gaps are filled in the scripts will do their job excellently.

In the end mine worked fine. I spent an hour going through the users to change the joining date as it didn't carry over and said they all joined Jan 1970
