phpBB2 Import Usergroups question

As I understand it, the ImpEx phpBB2 -> vB3 import script does not bring across any of the UserGroups. I'm wondering why...?

Could the script not just create the usergroups and thenbring the registered forum members who are also members of that Usergroup across...? I appreciate that permissions is another issue altogether and they would be difficult to map, but users and their groups... why not?

What, you didn't see that the ranks in phpBB are imported as usergroups in vB3 (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/bugs.php?do=view&bugid=2768&status=10)?

I know tho. I suggest this feature to be added, and the bug with the ranks to be solved. :)
