View Full Version : I need a reseller account
phenom
Mon 19th Apr '04, 8:34am
My current host is not providing me decent service. It's not the host as much as the server I'm on, and the apparent inability to move my reseller account to another server. Therefore, I'm taking the matter into my own hands and searching for something new, with some hope that they'll move me instead.
I don't want to change hosts, because it's a big hassle, and at least one site I resell to had many problems with host issues before coming to me, and after a year of existence still have not stabilized. I wanted to be the answer for them, my server isn't allowing me though.
What I need is 4-6GB of space that I have full allocation control over, 40-60GB of bandwidth, SSH access, and all that other fun stuff like unlimited domains, email, mysql dbs, and the like. Three of the sites run vbulletin.

It's http://www.webdoghost.com (http://www.webdoghost.com/) or I guess http://www.webdogpro.com (http://www.webdogpro.com/) since the other isn't up yet.;) It says that the hosting site should be active sometime today.

By your username, wouldn't WDP stand for WebDogPro? And, althoug hyou say there's no downtime, I read this on the main page of the site..
Changes soon? I have been working hard the last few weeks getting our new server ready for use, next week the downloads will be on the new server.
You will still access the templates the same.
We are going to try to make it so you do not notice the change besides that our site will be up more, our current systems have been going down a lot and we are doing something about it! http://www.webdogpro.com/news/data/emoticons/wink.gif
So if next week you find any errors with the downloads please email me: Max - System Admin (Max@WebDogPro.com).
This is just a advanced warning to the new changes.

I'm hosted with A Small Orange host and the servers are fast, support is great, and server loads are below 1.00 on average. You might want to check them out:
http://www.asmallorange.com/
The plans are fairly priced and WHM can be added to any of them for $5 extra a month. They are currently running an 80% off sale that you might want to look into:

not sure if I want to sign up with a host who doesn't even have a website FOR their hosting services.

thanks, Steve, I thought that was the case and was hesitant to start this thread because of that.
I'd rather hear testimonials from customers than offers from providers.

Hey WDP-Networks,
Seeing as a "Ryan" is posting news on the main website for websitepro.com it would seem that you are a part of that company. It isn't very honest business practice to 'fake' that you are a customer of a company you own. Sorry but that really bugs me, just say it (well actually don't do that here, because it is not allowed.)
Take care,
James

I'm a customer and I've been very happy with A Small Orange's support and servers. The server I'm on is considered full and loads are rarely above 1.00. :)

That was just saying we where merging onto our servers we own. our old provider went down hill.
As for the first post, that was made by a friend thats name is ryan he used my comp that day, the WDP ryan is a diferent ryan just to clear that up.
I dont spam our services. He just was trying to get refering points for his account.
From now on i won't let my friends use my computer for internet use.

www.4sitesnetwork.com seems interesting, my hosting company was taken over by them so you should get great support and all that. :)

You could check out 8-95.com or crystalweb.ca. I have used both myself and received good service.
8-95.com is actually owned by dixiesys.com btw.
