I am trying to use impex and when I select the first module to execute it appers to execute fine but I get the following and then nothing else happens. This is into a fresh install of v3.0.1

Altering tables
ImpEx will now Alter the tables in the vB database to include import id numbers.

This is needed during the import process for maintaining refrences between the tables during an import. If you have large tables (i.e. lots of posts) this can take some time.

They will also be left after the import if you need to link back to the origional phpBB userid.

The screen just sits there... nothing else happens. If I try and click on import/export again all I get is this screen. What else am I supposed to do to continue on....

Did you fill out a support ticket yet? I'm afraid only Jerry can sort this out.

these importers are barely usable, stop asking us to "file support tickets"...
These are not support requests, but blantent bugs in the importers, that we've waited so long for. Did anyone succeed in importing something larger than a 300 message board with these tools ?

I could spend my evening filing support issues for the phpbb importer alone.

With all due respect the reason to fill out a support ticket is so we can investigate and fix the problems. Unless you want to post all your Admin CP and FTP login info on these forums, this is the best way to accomplish this.

At this time only Jerry can help with the most import problems and issues. I suggest you reply to your support ticket.
