How To Add a single new Smilie
Goto the Admin Control Panel > Smilies > Add New Smilie section and this will load a new page with two options. One would be to add a single new smilie and the other would be to add multiple smilies, our focus will be on the first box (because we only want to add a single new smilie).
In the "Title" input field enter a title for the new smilie.
Example: Very Happy
In the "Text to Replace" input field enter a replacement for the new smilie.
Example: :whoohoo:
In the "Smilie File Path" input field enter the location for the new smilie.
Example: images/smilies/whoohoo.gif
From the "Smilie Category" drop down box select a smilie category to which you want to add the new smilie.
Example: [Generic Smilies]
In the "Display Order" input field enter a number if you know where you want to have it ordered between the other smilies. This is an optional field, if you don't know this number you can leave it empty.
Example: 5
Press the [Add Smilie] button which will insert the new smilie into the selected category and redirect you back to the index of the Smilies within the category you specified to add the smilie too.
You can now update the display order of the smilie, edit the smilie or even delete it again.
