I built a site for a friend with vb. I purchesed vb from here but decieded that I cant put my time into it like I thought I would. So here is the question. I bought the liecence with my cc and I dont want to be accociated with this person or site anymore. Can I cancel my liceince? I really dont care about the 85 bucks I spent on the lease. Can I cancel my liceince and then have him buy his own licience so he can run his site again without tearing it down and starting all over from my vb? Thanks.

You can request a transfer for the license from sales@vbulletin.com If the license meets criteria it will be transferred to the details of this person so he can use it.

So if I request for a transfer, will my information of cc or name be any way accociated with him or his site? I just built it for him and dont want to be anyway accociated with him. I spoke to him and he said he would take over the licience but I want to make sure that my information isnt linked to him or his site.

Please let me know if this is the case or I will just cancel my liecence and let him apply for his own. Thanks.

No, it shouldnt transfer any of your personal information that im aware of, and there is no real way to "cancle" a license. that im aware of at this time.

Well I just dont want to be associated with hiim or his site so I wanted to make sure that if I take the route of just transfering liecenc to him that I will be obsolete from that licience. I am very concerned about this. Thanks.

Best you can do is create a support ticket in the members area, or email support@vbulletin.com and ask them :)
