Appendix 5: ImpEx Import System 
The ImpEx (Import / Export) system is the core system for importing from other forum software into vBulletin version 3.5.0 or higher. PHP 4.3.3 or higher are required to run ImpEx.
Note:
There are two tiers of importer systems within ImpEx.


Tier 1

These importers were either upgraded or have been recently developed as all new importers are tier one. Being in this tier means that the systems use phrases and error logging to help with any support issues.


Tier 2

Systems in this tier are the less common imports and legacy systems, they have English hard coded. Tier 2 systems can be promoted to tier 1 if there is enough demand.
Warning:
ImpEx should not be considered an upgrade path. Please use the upgrade.php file comes with your newest version. Using ImpEx to upgrade your forums is considered be done so at your own risk.
